Pastor Tim Graham
Pastor Tim and his wife, Karen, enjoy parenting five children together as they serve in ministry. Both Tim and Karen are graduates of Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in Owatonna. In addition to Pillsbury College, other institutions contributing to Tim’s education are the University of St. Thomas (MBA), Central Baptist Theological Seminary (language studies & exegesis) and Faith Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois (Doctor of Ministry).
Pastor Tim’s approach to preaching the Bible is to preach through the Bible book by book, paragraph by paragraph. The reasons for this approach are many. But among the most significant benefits are 1) Ideas contained within a paragraph of Scripture are presented within the context of the human author’s flow of thought, which anchors our interpretation to the author’s original meaning; and 2) This approach avoids the temptation for a pastor to only preach his “favorite” passages or passages that he feels are “important.” The Bible says, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable.”
Pastor Joel Pacyna
Pastor Joel has been serving as associate pastor at Cornerstone since February 2017. Joel and his wife, Joy, have been members of Cornerstone Baptist Church since 2010. Both graduates of Northland International University, Joel studied pastoral ministry and Joy studied elementary education. Joel has also completed graduate education in Bioethics at Trinity International University. They are busy parents of 3 children.
Pastor Joel’s passion in church ministry is to see believers find strength and stability in strong Biblical teaching and catch a vision for growth, discipleship, Christian friendship, and outreach. Joel assists Pastor Tim in providing pastoral care, in teaching and preaching, and in planning and stewarding church ministries with the goal of promoting organic ministry at Cornerstone.
