Our last youth activity of 2025 will be a formal event involving dinner in St. Paul and a concert in Minneapolis, Handel’s Messiah at the Basilica of St. Mary’s. The concert will be performed by the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra with vocals by a Minnesota vocal ensemble group called by the slightly diminutive title, “The Singers.”
This attire for this event will be formal. This will not be a dating event as dating is not allowed in Cornerstone’s youth program as well as the fact that we hope that all of our young men and young women will be equally sociable and friendly toward everyone in their age group.
We begin with grilled sirloin steaks on Friday night at 6, opening session at 7, and dessert following. Saturday morning we have our opening session, cinnamon loaf coffee break, three breakout workgroups, smoked brisket for lunch, and some fun breakout seminars to end the day by 2 pm.
